The programs below are available to children who have completed kindergarten – fifth grade. The Y offers a Half-Day Summer Enrichment Program for children ages 3 – 5 who are in Preschool or will be entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2024; please find more information here. 

Summer is time for kids to explore and expand the limits of their imagination. With the YMCA of Greater Des Moines’ specially tailored half-day enrichment program curriculum, children will explore their passion each day! The program has been designed with an emphasis on the theme of the week; children will be immersed in the topic from drop-off to pick-up time in a safe environment while having lots of FUN! 

Please note: A $20 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration. The deposit will be applied towards the balance due for your week of half-day enrichment programming. The remaining balance will be due on the Tuesday before the program begins.
