Youth Basketball League

Youth Basketball League

Our basketball programs are designed for players of all abilities who want to have fun, participate in healthy competition, and develop their skills. Players will learn the fundamentals of the game and the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and sportsmanship. Volunteer coaches support and encourage players and serve as positive role models for youth.

Leagues are offered in the winter for kindergarten through 8th-grade students with the option to form a new team or join an existing one. Leagues feature a 6-game or 12-game season on Saturdays and one practice per week. Kindergarten Basketball will feature two 6-week sessions. Kindergarteners will practice the first half of their scheduled hour and play a game for the last 30 minutes of their scheduled time. Financial assistance is available to make the program accessible to all.

We are asking participants to identify their perceived division level so we can build the rosters and schedules to ensure the best experience for all participants. Advanced teams will be matched with advanced teams, and beginner teams will be matched with beginner teams.

Beginner League: This is a fun league for those with little experience playing organized basketball and looking to learn the fundamentals of basketball. Players who belong to a team and have a coach AND individuals who want to be placed on a random team may sign up for this division.

Advanced League: Players are familiar with basketball and have previously played in other organized leagues. Players who belong to a team and have a coach AND individuals who want to be placed on a random team may sign up for this division.

**If a division has less than four teams sign up, we will combine the Advanced and Beginner divisions. We will still match up advanced teams with advanced teams and beginner teams with beginner teams.
