Small Group Training

If you’re looking for a fun and affordable way to take your fitness to the next level, our Small Group Training sessions are for you! Small Group Training combines the community support and accountability of group fitness classes with the individualized instruction and attention of personal training.

Functional Interval Training (F.I.T.) - Level 1

F.I.T. Level 1 is designed for beginning exercisers or the senior population as it is less intense
than F.I.T. Level 2. Functional interval training is for the individual that wants the most bang for
their buck! Interval training is the most effective way to get into shape in the least amount
of time. The class incorporates functional strength and cardio exercises to keep your
metabolism burning even after class. This class may be held outside depending on weather.

Located in the Functional Fitness Area at Indianola YMCA.

challenging workout. Join our trainers for these small group classes. Let them help you
get stronger, build stability in your joints, and gain endurance while providing personal
attention to your needs and goals. While classes are geared toward seniors, members of
any age can join!

Triathlon Swimming

Whether preparing for a triathlon or simply wanting to boost endurance, this instructor-led class will give members the confidence and drive needed to succeed. In Triathlon Swimming, structured workouts use multiple lap swimming and underwater/above water video for individual improvements while enjoying the company of other athletes.

Our team of USAT-certified instructors is here to guide you through training for your next triathlon, no matter the distance, no matter your experience. This Triathlon Training program is a combination of cycling and swim training to build your endurance and technique as the miles (and hours) of training add up. We’re here to help seasoned and novice triathletes reach their training and triathlon goals.
